My mom and brothers visited me today, which I was massively ecstatic about ‘cause I haven’t seen them in two weeks!
We ate at AmoRoma, which has been my one of my favorites since I was in high school when they were still a tiny restaurant in Alabang, before they opened a much bigger one in Tagaytay. The owners are an Italian-Filipino couple we’ve been friendly with; my parents always used to chit-chat with the husband in Italian a lot.
He sadly passed away a while back, so his wife and my mom have been confidantes recently.Anyway, thankfully his widow still carried on, and the food is just as good! So, left to right— my Tartufo ravioli, Cinque Formaggi pizza, my mom’s Ravioli Spinachi with brandy, my brother’s Cannelloni al Ragu di Carne (my other two brothers ordered risotto), and Panna Cotta Carmello, Tiramisu, and vanilla gelato for dessert.
